Carlos Wesley Stover, Sr.

Carlos Wesley Stover, Sr. 79, of Elkview passed away Friday, June 15, 2018 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston with his family by his side.

Carlos greatest goal was helping and taking care of his family. He was a retired electrician having worked for Air Conditioning Service, Capital Restaurant and Dorsey Electrical. Carlos liked to work on heating and cooling, electrical appliances, plumbing and lawn mowers. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Glen McClure Stover and Virginia Bell Edens; brother, Leo Davis; sister, Brenda Pauley, nephew, Reginald Strader.

Carlos is survived by his loving wife of 26 years, Delores Jane Stover; children, Wesley Stover at home, step-son, Larry Skiles at home, Carlos Wesley Stover, Jr. and wife, Michelle of Spencer, Gregory Allen Stover of Charleston; grandchildren, Heather Dornsife, Mark Carte, Jessica Carte, Carlos Stover III, Jason Stover, Katlyn Stover; great grandchildren, Joey Stricker, Alaina Dornsife, Averie Dornsife, Aubrey Carte, Braylen, Mason, Bailey, and Holden Stover; former wife, Phyllis Withrow and husband, Russell and family; sister, Jean Galitier of Newark, DE and several nieces, nephews and friends.

The family would like to give a special thank you to the nurses Julie and Zach at CAMC Memorial MICU.

Service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at the Hafer Funeral Home with. Pastor Jimmy Copley officiating. Burial will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the funeral home.
