Allen "Junebug" Young, 59, of Coopers Creek passed away Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

He had worked for Means Construction and enjoyed riding his motorcycle, going fishing. Allen played guitar and wrote gospel music.

Surviving is his parents, Harold Young and Juanita Anderson Young; sons, Jeffrey Dye and Jackie Lee Young; daughter, Penny Richmond; sister, Debra (Scott) Means; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren; companion, Joyce Townsend.

A memorial service will be held 3pm Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Hafer Funeral Home with Rev. Scott Means officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
