Terry Lee Harper, 58, of Dunnellon, Florida and Elkview, passed away on Friday, November 17, 2017.
He attended First Baptist Church of Pinch and recently rededicated his life to the Lord. He attended Herbert Hoover High School. He was a member of the Carpenters Union Local and worked at John Amos Power Plant and Crystal River Nuclear Plant. He was also well-known for his excellent work as a carpet installer. He had a passion for motorcycles, muscle cars, boxing and heavy metal music. He played multiple sports from midget league football to the high school wrestling team. He was always up for a game of basketball and played on several men's league softball teams in WV and NC.
Terry was a great family man and dearly loved his children. He is survived by his children, Briana Harper and Trent Harper and their mother, Marcia Taylor of Teays Valley, Tiana Harper and Cheyenne Harper and their mother, Linda Madison Harper of Florida; parents, James and Betty Martin Harper of Charleston; sisters, Debbie (Scott) Casto of Hurricane, Beverly Harper Oldham of Charleston; granddaughter, Reighna Bryant of Charleston and one unborn grandchild; fiancé, Jeanie Droddy of Elkview. He left behind several nieces and nephews, Cory Lilly, Kelli Oldham DiTrapano, Dustin Oldham and Madison Casto.
He is preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Bryant Martin.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at 5:30 pm with Pastor Alan Myers officiating.
Visitation will be from 4pm-5:30pm on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017 at the funeral home.
