Obituary for Dalton Monroe Siers

Dalton Monroe Siers

Dalton Monroe Siers, 78, of Elkview went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 29, 2017.

He was a retired machinist with Union Carbide and Arco Corporation. Dalton was a 48 year member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, where he served as Deacon and Sunday School Superintendant. He was a handyman and helped the Habitat for Humanity for10 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Burley Monroe Siers and Icy Martha Bullard Siers.

Dalton is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Linda L. Ross Siers, daughters, Kimberly Rose of Frame, husband Terry preceded her in death; Tami Jo (Brian) Stark of Pittsburgh, PA; brother, David Siers of Mineral Wells WV; sister, Charlotte (Danny) Westfall of Washington, WV; grandchildren, Kevin Mullins, Amber Mullins, Jacob Rose; great grandchildren, Alexis, Bailee, Xarria.

Service will be 2pm Thursday, Nov. 2, 2017 with visitation preceding from 1pm - 2 pm at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be 4-7pm Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017 at the Hafer Funeral Home, Elkview.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the flood restoration fund at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 58 Mt. Pleasant Drive, Elkview.

The family would like to thank Hospice, caregivers, friends and our church family for all their love and support during this time.
