Ellen Frances Smith, 94, of Mill Creek, passed away Monday, Oct. 16, 2017 at home surrounded by her family
.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles D. Smith; daughter, Carolyn Smith; parents, Clark Bare and Sadie Snider.

Ellen was a member of the Kanawha Baptist Temple, Charleston; and worked as a clerk for the US Post Office
.
She is survived by her son, Ricky Smith of Mill Creek; sisters, Corrinne Buckner of Mill Creek, Betty Miller of Alkole.

Graveside service will be 2:00 pm Thursday, Oct. 19, 2017 at Cunningham Memorial Park, St. Albans with Pastor Curtis Eddie Patterson officiating
