Samuel Dale Ball, 57, of Elkview passed away Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017 at his residence after a sudden illness.

He was a truck driver for US Food Service. Sam enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson with his wife, and play his guitar and singing. His wife, Shari stated that "He was the most wonderful man on this earth."

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Ball and Mary Ball; brothers, William "Bill", James "Cotton"; sister, Janice

Sam is survived by his loving wife of 5 years, Shari Knopp Ball; sons, Jimmy and Jeremy Ball; step-sons, Dennis Carder and Dustin Carder; brothers, Jerald "Cline" Ball, Bobby Ball and Jerry Ball; 15 grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12-2pm Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017 at the Myers Chapel of Hafer Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow the visitation at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney with Pastor Homer Wiseman officiating.
