Gary James Parsons, 65, of Frame passed away Saturday, Sept. 30, 2017 at home with his family by his side.

He is a retired mechanic from Zent Equipment Company. Gary enjoyed spending time with his family, going fishing, hunting and camping. He is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Meadows Parsons; parents, James Corbit Parsons and Sybil Larch Parsons; brothers, Robert and Jerry Parsons; sister, Bonnie Parsons.

Gary is survived by his son, Jimmy (Selena) Parsons of Gandeeville; daughters, April (Bill) Mullins of Elkview, Crystal (Michael) Parker of Gandeeville; brother, David Parsons of Roane County; sisters, Beulah Evans of Marmet, Betty Cavender of Elkview, Donna Parker of Spencer, Carolyn Taylor of Gandeeville; grandchildren, Sierra (Jt) Thaxton of Elkview, James (Cassidy)Parker of Gandeeville, Kendra Parker of Gandeeville, Brittiany (Don) Hicks of Elkview; great grandchildren, Chandra and Lykaidien. And a very close friend, Dorothy Childress.

Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at the Hafer Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Deel officiating. Burial will be in the Billy Hunt Cemetery, Green Creek.

Visitation will be from 12-2pm Saturday, Oct. 7, 2017 at the funeral home.
