Willard "Gary" Lovejoy, 58, passed away August 23, 2017 from medical complications. He will be sorely missed. He was a skilled contractor, multiple property owner, and traded and sold heavy equipment and cars and trucks. He also attended many auctions and was a Mover and Shaker in Charleston and beyond.

Gary stood out by his unique and wide range of talents. He mentored, helped , encouraged and rescued many men, women and children over his lifetime, giving them shelter, a hand up, and advice. His compassion has touched many lives.

Gary is preceded in death by his mother, Margaret Belcher.

Gary is survived by his wife of 37 years, Nancy Lovejoy; daughters, Kristin Holmes and husband Chris; Sydney Graham and partner James Collins ;step-son, Chris Mallett, Nancy's son who Gary raised as his own; sister Kelly Williams; stepsister Kay Belcher; grandchildren, Brooke Holmes and Rowan Collins; Nieces, Amanda Gibson and Michelle Boggs.

Service will be held on Monday, August 28, 2017, at Hafer Funeral Home. The visitation will be at 11:00 AM, with the service following at 12:30 PM, with the Rev. Mike Long officiating.

A private burial will be at Elk Hill Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
