David Howard Carte Sr.

David Howard Carte Sr., 71, of Charleston, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017.

He was a member of the United States Army, and retired from the Carpenters Union.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Carte, father, Harold Carte; brothers, Robert Carte, Ray Carte, Ira Carte, Randy Carte; and sister, Judy Carte.

David is survived by the Love of His Life, Dolores Hughes; sons, Scott (Michelle) Carte, Jamie (Heather) Carte, David (Chris) Carte Jr., David (Liz) Hughes, Daniel (Aimee) Hughes; brothers, Harold Carte; sisters, Rosemary Eltonhead, Sandy Martin, Gloria Kessinger; grandchildren, Shelby, Zachary, Brittany Carte, Kirsten Cole, Emilee Hughes, David and Matilda Carte.

Services will be Sunday, August 6, 2017, at 3:00PM, at Myers Chapel of Hafer Funeral Home, with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will be at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00PM.
