Larry "Link" Milton Rucker, 77, of Jane Lew formerly of Clendenin passed away Thursday, April 20, 2017 at Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.
He had worked for Publix Super Markets in Florida and was a 1958 graduate of Clendenin High School. While living at Daytona Beach, Florida he enjoyed pier and surf fishing and he attended almost every NASCAR 500 race. Larry enjoyed going hunting, bowling and was an avid WVU football and basketball fan.
He was preceded in death by his parents P.R. and Fannie Naylor Rucker; brothers, Raymond Rucker, Russell "Jake" Rucker, Donald Rucker; sisters, Irma Rucker, Ruby Morrison, Blanche "Pete" Hill, Madelyn Rucker, Oreda "Bill" Mick; half-sister, Radie Ferrell.
Surviving is his loving wife of 48 years, Donna Scarberry Rucker; sisters, Shirley (Con) Cobb, Wilma (Wim) McQuain.
Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 24, 2017 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Roger Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Jonah F. Rucker Family Cemetery, Jordan Creek.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
