Judy Hilda Fields, 68, of Walton passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
Judy was a member and the church secretary at Mount Moriah Church and has been a Christian all of her life. She volunteered at Walton Elementary for several years. Judy greatest joy was her kids and grandkids.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Chapman and Alpha Burgess Chapman; brother, Carl Martin; sisters, Ruth Shaffer and Marilyn Schrock.
Judy is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Ralph Junior Fields; son, John Fields and wife, Sandi; daughter, Shelli Ellis and husband, Steve; brothers, Joseph Chapman and Charles Chapman; sisters, Nellie Roe, Carolyn Vaughn, Georgia Moore and Sheila Chapman; grandchildren, Sierra Thaxton and husband Jt, Gracey and Macey Fields; special sister-in-law, Fera Taylor and best friend, Dale Lane.
Service will be 2:00 pm Monday, April 10, 2017 at Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Blackwell officiating. Burial will be at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Ambler Ridge.
Visitation will be from 12-2pm Monday, April 10, 2017 at the funeral home.
