Guy Irvin Turpin, 73, of Elkview passed away Thursday, April 6, 2017 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.

Guy was retired Laborer from WV Laborer Local 1353, and enjoyed going fishing, hunting and being outdoors. He is preceded in death by his wife of 29 years, Sue Shamblin Turpin; parents, Joseph Turpin and Virginia Hill Turpin, granddaughter, Pebbles Ann Turpin.

He is survived by his son, Guy (Bev) Turpin, Jr. of South Charleston; sister, Dee (Stanley) Cavender of Elkview; brothers, Joe Turpin of White Pigeon, Michigan, Frank Turpin of Sheffield, Alabama.

Service will be 4:00 pm Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Williams officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
