Condolence From: Drema Davis
Condolence: So sorry for the loss of this precious person...Ruth was a very special lady....from the time I first met her, it seemed like we had always known each other...we always enjoyed talking with each other at the Elkview Senior Center. We seemed like family from the first time we ever met...she was a delightful and spunky person who I admired so much...and a very pretty woman, too. I believe she was a very caring person, who would and could talk to just anyone. Shirley, keep the precious thoughts of your Mother always in your heart, these will be such a comfort to you in the days ahead...may God comfort you and give you peace in your heart...Thinking of you and your family... Condolence From: Beth Moore
Condolence: My heart and deepest sympathies to you and your family during this difficult time.  I know the heartbreak and pain of losing a loved one in death so I wanted to take a moment to share an encouraging scripture that gives me much hope.  1 Corinthians 15:26 "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing."  When we lose someone in death our heavenly Father sees the pain we feel and he promises to very soon do away with this wicked enemy of ours once and for all.  And then he promises the most beautiful hope, to bring back to life all our dear loved ones and to reunite them with us again!  What a beautiful promise of comfort and hope and how we long for that truly special day so close at hand.

Condolence From: John R Shamblin
Condolence: Ruth's Family, I am deeply sorry that I am in Florida and cannot extend my condolences in person. Ruth was a "special lady". I know you will miss her greatly. I too will miss not seeing her at the table in the lunch room of the Elkview Senior Center. Peggy and I will be praying for the families. God Bless, John Robert Shamblin
