Burnard Dale Hamrick, 83 of Elkview, WV went home to be with the Lord. The Angels rang their golden bells to welcome Dale home at 10:52 am on March 16th 2017. Dale was preceded in death by his Father and Mother, Jesse and Dora Hamrick, two Brothers, David and Jack Hamrick, and a Sister, Chatta Hamrick Gill.
Surviving Wife, Janet Dodrill Hamrick of Elkview, WV, and three Sons, Terry Hamrick of Dunbar and wife Melissa Caryl, Mark Hamrick of Berkeley Springs, WV and wife Kim, Matthew Craig Hamrick of Elkview, WV and wife Cynthia, Sister, Alice Hamrick Morrow and Husband, Dean of North Port, Fla. Seven Grandchildren, Ashley Hamrick of Huntington, WV, Chrystal Hamrick of Charlotte Hill, MD, Ricky Hamrick of Centreville, MD, Jason Hamrick of Lexington, KY, Nick Hamrick of Charleston, WV, Christina Hamrick Baber of South Charleston, WV, and Husband Michael, Melissa Hamrick of South Charleston, WV, One Great Granddaughter, Shealyn Hamrick. Three Step Grandchildren, Christina Skiles Phalen, Brandon Skiles, and Holley Skiles Workman. Two Step Great Grandchildren, Nevaeh Workman, and Chris Workman Jr.
Dale was a graduate of Widen High School, Widen, WV. He served in the Air Force, as a sergeant in the Korean War. He was a retired dozer operator from Union Carbide in Sanderson, WV. Dale was a loving Husband of 61 years, a devoted father, Grandfather, and Great Grandfather. Dale taught his Sons how to be a Christian, Husband, and Gardener. He also enjoyed Hunting with his Sons, and Grandchildren, with many more memories he has left in their hearts.
Dale was a faithful Member of Mount Pleasant Baptist Church, with 53 years of attendance. He was a Ordained Deacon, a Sunday School Teacher, Mentor, and loving friend to all.

Service will be held 2:00PM Sunday March 19, 2017 at Mount Pleasant Baptist Church Gym with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will take place at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
Visitation will be held 6-8PM Saturday March 18, 2017 at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Gym.
