James "Jim" Hobert Kidd
James "Jim" Hobert Kidd, 46, of Elkview passed away Sunday, March 12, 2017 from injuries received from an auto accident.
He had worked for Cummings Diesel, was a 1989 graduate of Herbert Hoover High School and Northwestern Auto Diesel College, Lima, Ohio. More than anything Jim loved being a dad, spending time with his kids and working on cars. He is preceded in death by his father, Artie Thomas Kidd.
He is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Amy Johnson Kidd; sons, Lance Rhodes, Wyatt Kidd; daughter, Madison Kidd; mother, Brenda Straight Kidd Mace; brothers, Stuart (Jill)Kidd and Tom (Cheryl)Kidd; sister, Lisa (Bill) Noe. Jim is also survived by loving in-laws, Daniel and Glenda Johnson, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews; a host of cousins, and many loving friends.
Service will be 4:00 pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Sams officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Cemetery, Little Sandy.
Visitation will be from 2-4pm Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the funeral home.
