Robert Clarence Ore

Robert "Bob" Clarence Ore, 88, of Clendenin went home to be with the Lord Friday, Jan 6, 2017 at his residence.

He was the former Mayor of Clendenin, WV and previously held other leadership positions with CEDCO Technical Services, LUMMUS Operating Associates, and TURBO Resources LTD. He was the Owner and operator of Granby Lumber and hardware, and a private air plane pilot. Bob and Belinda were members of the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Opie Clarence Ore and Juanita Greene Ore.

Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Belinda W. Ore; sons, Jake (Debbie) Ore, Robert M. (Beth) Ore USAF; daughters, Linda Vopicka, and Rebecca E. Ore USCG, brother, Bill Ore; sisters, Kathleen Malone and Anna Marie Griffith; grandchildren, Miriam, David, Benjamin, Charles, and Christina; great grandchild, Kimberly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Father Brian Crenwelge at the Basilica of the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart at 10:00 am Wednesday, Jan 11, 2017. Interment will be in the Donald C. Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar.
