Carroll Junior Lynch, 79, of Charleston WV, born December 25, 1937, the son of the late John J. Lynch and Mildred Virginia Lynch, passed away Wednesday December 28th at Hubbard Hospice House after a long illness.
Carroll was a loving, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend to all who knew him. Anyone who had the privilege to meet him quickly learned of his sharp wit and keen sense of humor. These qualities, along with his personability, helped him make all those around him feel welcomed and fueled his success as a car salesman for many years, from Car City Motors to Tag Galyean Chevrolet. Above all else stood his love and caring for his many grandchildren.
His loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy "Dottie" L. Lynch, preceded him in death by only three weeks. Also preceding him in death are his twin brother Gerald J. Lynch; brothers, Roger Lucas and Etzel Lynch; and sister, Marilyn Sheldon.
Left to mourn Carroll's passing are his loving children Jerry C. Lynch and Cheryl A. Lynch Smith, and the grandson he raised, Jerry C. Lynch II (April); grandsons, Allen R. Lynch (Angie), Wesley W. Lynch (Melinda), and Logan A. Smith; granddaughters, Amber N. Smith March (Andy), and Sarah A. Smith; and 11 beautiful great grandchildren that he cherished.
Carroll is also survived by his brothers Thaddeous "Buzzy" Boggess, Roy Lynch, and Clay Lynch; sisters Virginia Legg, Carolyn Holley, Gladys "Sissy" Mullins, and Annie Harless; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
