Betty Doughty
Betty K. Doughty, 67, of Charleston, WV, passed away Sunday, October 9,2016 at CAMC Memorial Hospital.
She was born August 26, 1949 to the late Harold and Thelma Turley. She was also preceded in death by her sister Barbara Harper and brothers Alvin Alan Turley and Harold Turley.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years Roy E. Doughty; son, Gary R. Doughty; daughter, Tammy Doughty and husband Larry Stutler; sisters Margaret Kinser (Bob) and Deloris Pritt (Jamie) of Dixie, WV; grandchildren, Nathan, Dustin, Andrew and Gage Doughty and Haley Stutler all of Charleston; sister-in-law, Christina Doughty; brother-in-law, Robert Doughty and several nieces and nephews.
Betty was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Dunbar Athletic Bosters. She was a fighter and stayed positive while she struggled with multiple medical conditions.
A special thank you to the CCU Unit at Memorial for the excellent care they provided for Betty.
A graveside service will be held__ in the Doughty Family Cemetery, Coopers Creek with Pastor Oz Willey officiating.
