Paul David Jeffrey, Sr.

Paul David Jeffrey, Sr., 71, of Elkview went home to be with the Lord, on Saturday, Oct 1, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.

He was a retired postal carrier for the US Postal Service, a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Charleston. Paul was an ordained Minister and enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, attending church, and piddling around the house.

He is preceded in death by his parents, L.E. "Ducky" and Edith Jeffrey; brothers, Floyd "Sonny" Jeffrey, Lewis Edgar Jeffrey, Jr., a twin brother, five angel babies, several grandchildren and great grandchildren

Surviving love of his life for fifty plus years his wife, Erma Pauley Jeffrey; children, Paul "David" (Kim) Jeffrey, Jr., Kelly (Chris)Karpoicz, Shawn (April) Jeffrey; brother, Jerry R. (Charlotte); grandchildren, Ryan, Courtney, Tyler Jeffrey, Jeffrey, Zachary, Sydnee Taylor, Makayla Jeffrey; great granddaughter, Lilly Jeffrey, and his dog "Maggie".

Service will be 2 pm Thursday, Oct. 6, 2016 at Bethany Baptist Church, Charleston with Pastor Rodney Smith officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be 6-8pm Wednesday, Oct. 5, 2016 at Bethany Baptist Church, Charleston, and also one hour prior to the service.
