Virginia Mae Jones

Virginia Mae Jones, 95, of Charleston, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Braley Care Homes.

Virginia was a Matrin of the Eastern Star, and she enjoyed golf, and boating. She also was proud of her 72 year marriage to the late Dempsey Jones.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reverend William and Sadie Jarrett; son, Tom Jones; brothers, Sam Jarrett, and Robert Lewis Jarrett; sisters, Mildred Temple and Mary Katherine O'Neal.
She is survived by her grandson, Bill (Melissa) Jones; daughter-in-law, Pat Jones; great grandchildren, Kylie, Kaylee, and Jared ;great-great grandchildren, Chance, Dalton, and Baylor.

A joint funeral service honoring memory of her and her son, Tom Jones will be 2:00 pm September 13, 2016 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Clint Chiles officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.

Visitation will be two hours prior to the service.
