Alma Frances Kinder
Alma Frances Kinder, 87, a devoted wife, mother and 55 year resident of Blue Creek passed away Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2015 in CAMC General Hospital.
She was a devoted help mate of her late husband, Rev. J.W. "Jim" Kinder, Jr, ministry for 52 years and served the Lord for 54 years. Alma is also preceded in death by her parents, Okey Williams and Grace Hudnall Willams; brothers, Freddie Williams, Orville Williams, Alva Williams; sisters, Helen Scarbro, Elva Williams, Zelma Williams, Charlotte Williams.
Surviving are sons, Dennis of Marietta, Ga., Ron and wife Jackie, Ray and wife Diana of Pinch, Jim (III) and wife Lou Ann of St. Albans and Bob and wife, Tracy of Blue Creek; daughters, Betty Bays and husband Bill of Keyesport, IL and Jo Ann Miller and husband Mike of Elkview. 16 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Alma was lovingly cared for in her home the past 10 years by her daughter, Jo Ann. The family would like to thank the CAMC General 4 south team, Dr. Farran and Dr. Zarowitz for the love and care they showed to our mom and family.
Service will be 2:00 pm Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015 at the Hafer Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Swor officiating. Burial will be in Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
