James Allen Young
James Allen Young, 29, of Elkview, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015 from injuries received in an accident.
He was a very hard working man, and proud to be a WV Coal Miner for Patriot Coal Company. James never knew a stranger and would help anyone in need. He was a wonderful husband and father to his three girls who were the most important in his life. He was a member of Sissonville Volunteer Fire Department and former member of Frame Volunteer Fire Department and Walton Volunteer Fire Department.
Surviving; wife, Christy Young; daughters, Isabella Brooklynn, Jasmine Adriane and Esmeralda Jo Selene Young; mother, Joni Chandler; father, James Young, sisters, Amanda Paul, Amy Shafer, Amber Young; step-sister, Tonya Clark; half-brother, Charles Young; nephew who he helped raise and care for like a son, Christopher Young and many more loving nieces, nephews and cousins who he truly loved dearly.
Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, 58 Mt. Pleasant Drive, Elkview with Pastor Tim Ashley officiating. Burial will be in the Hoyt Chandler Cemetery, Walton. Following the graveside service will be a dinner at the Walton Union Church for the family and friends.
Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Friday, May 15, 2015 at the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.
